The Academy


Mid-sized venue with a main room and a smaller 'Green Room' for live bands and indie club nights. The Academy is notorious for their crazy and exciting nights. The Academy has something for everyone, with three seperate floors of music, you're bound to find something that suits you. The academy has hosted massive names such as Dua Lipa, Jax Jones, Macklemore, and even David Bowie! You're missing out if you've never had a night in the Academy.
Dicey's Gardens


No-frills rooms and posh suites in a Georgian hotel with a party vibe in its bar and 2 nightspots. Dicey's is a beloved spot for many, especially on their €2 Monday nights, where drinks are aplenty. Three completely distinctive floors with great varied music from room to room. Dicey's is undisputedly the most popular venue on it's side of the city. Also well known for their €5 lunchtime mountain of a carvery that barely leaves room for your pint.
District 8


District 8 certainly isn't for the faint hearted. The 1,000 capacity venue has made a name for itself as one of the best places to catch big-name house and techno DJs in Ireland. It's urban exterior has earned a reputable name for the club. Located underneath the Tivoli Theatre, sometimes patrons overflow into the upper theater. With it's bouncers voted as some of the strictest in Ireland, you need to have your whits about you on your night in D8.
Hangar


Hangar is located in the industrial, atmospheric surroundings of one of Dublin's original shirt factories in the heart of the creative quarter. It is credited with the revival of the near extinct techno scene in Ireland. Techno-heads come from near and far for one of hangars many weekly events, including; €2 Mondays, Skint Thursdays and €3 Sundays. If you need a great session on a budget, a Hangar night will treat you nicely.
Pygmalion


Pygmalion Bar, Restaurant and Venue (also known as PYG) – is one of Dublin's most famous venues which was established in 2009 and is located in the vaults of Powerscourt Townhouse. From Soul to Techno, there are only really 2 genres in their opinion, good and bad. Their weekly parties have gone strength to strength based on the quality of both their residents and guests such as Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Heartthob, Pan-Pot, Jamie Jones, Soul Clap, Ryan Elliot and many more.
Workman's Club
